100% Italian Barley
Our barley comes exclusively from Italian crops and grows healthy and lush among the hills of Emilia, Tuscany, and the Marche, the hills of Bergamo, and the fertile Murge plains between Puglia and Basilicata. When the barley is ripe and ready for harvest, our quality managers personally inspect the crops and select the best quality in the field.
Our Quality Control system verifies and monitors the product through all stages: from sowing to harvesting, to final processing.
Thanks to the authenticity of our raw materials and their processing, we are able to reuse production waste to create natural fertilizers and biofuels, and reuse the byproduct for agronomic and animal feed purposes.
Our production techniques are natural. We do not use chemicals, synthetic products, or GMO-derived raw materials.
Preparation
- Take a cup and add 2-3 teaspoons of Crastan instant barley
- Sugar to taste
- Pour just a little hot water or milk and stir to dissolve the barley
- Then add the remaining water or milk to complete the drink
- Try it cold with a few ice cubes
